I have successfully used a two port Sipura VOIP box with half a dozen ISPs in the UK and abroad to connect to my company's Asterisk system and the VOIP service of another provider. It worked on every connection, though a couple required port forwarding. However I can't get any kind of a connection using Orange Broadband. I thought that perhaps the Orange VOIP service was using port 5060; my Sipura box uses port 5060 for one line and 5070 for the other.
Orange (non) technical (lack of) support have been next to useless and take several days to respond with nonsensical replies, so I have given up with them. Does anyone have experience of successfully using any other VOIP suppliers on an Orange connection? Can you offer some assistance?
Incidentally, the quality of call on Orange Talk (or whatever it's called) is very poor when compared with my other and my company's VOIP services on other non-Orange internet connections, so I'd be quite happy to ditch this, and the Livebox, in favour of my own VOIP services and a new router if necessary.
