Hello,
I've been having big problems with my connection since April/May. I'm using the Belkin MIMO+ wireless router and a 1mb connection with Orange.
Reduced the router MTU to 1400 and switched to PPPoA last year when setting it up as I couldn't access Hotmail, Facebook, etc. and everything was fine until April/May when the problem re-emerged. But this time it was worse than before and I couldn't even access bbc.co.uk (or this site) - only Google and MSN Messenger were accessible.
Having spoken to Belkin and looked here and on Kitz.co.uk from my office computer, I used DrTCP to reduce my home PC's MTU to 1400 aswell. This worked partially - now have access to bbc.co.uk, etc., but not to MSN/Hotmail/Bebo/eBay and similar sites.
Any ideas what else I can do to get full access and stop all this "request timed out" nonsense? At a bit of a loss after the drtcp didn't fully work. Cheers.
