I have a weird problem. On my desktop PC I have a wireless card and very often, the icon says it's connected to the livebox, but when I try to open www pages I can't.
I then disconnect and re-connect and everything works.
Interestingly, I have a laptop with wireless and there that problem doesn't occur. I figure the problem must be with the wireless card. Has anyone else encountered this?
You could try checking the manufacturer's website to see if they have any updated drivers for it. Updating them like that, or even reinstalling, may help.
Is it a card or USB adapter? If USB then the system could be powering it down to save energy and when it does the connection is lost but not shown as so.
