quick update
had Orange loads of probs no connection at all 30days from activation date no service at all
was told by Orange that the fault was on the BT side of the line
my llu was goodmayes in ilford about 2 1/2 miles from me
cut a long long stroy short got out of the Orange contract and got a MAC code
guess who i went with ....B T...singed up
5 days equipment arivved same DAY turned on and was getting 2mb straight away on the same line and exchange as which i was on with Orange
5 days now and speed test shows 6.2mb download and 398kbs upload
orange SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THAT THEY COULD DO FOR ME
no repair to the line or at the exchange
the fault lied with Orange not BT before i took BT they run a test on the line a ok and was told 5-6 mb and too there words i get 6 mb so guys try it £14.99 first 6mths then 22.99 but the service is outstanding prompt delv quick install and unlike Orange IT WORKS
