You don't need any software to connect any router to any reasonably modern operating system. Assuming your network card is working, in default configuration and plugged into the livebox, you just point a web browser (IE, Firefox etc etc etc) at http://192.168.1.1 and login with username admin amd password admin. Thats pretty much all the setup disk does, the router (livebox) handles all the configuration.
Via ethernet is fine. I am trying to connect via wireless. When the disc is entered it says application not designed... XP SP1 is required. I have XP SP3 The wireless adaptor says unable to connect.
