Like the title says.
I've been using the Livebox Wireless connection successfully for about a week or less and had no faults as yet. I'd had a problem before, as the Livebox is in one room and my laptop in the other, with the Livebox not detecting my Wireless adaptor but suddenly last week it seemed to find it.
However, this morning as I was trying to install a new microphone on my computer (and as the laptop only has two USB and I needed one for the external CD Drive), I unplugged the adaptor. Once the microphone had been installed, I plugged the adaptor back in again but failed to get my internet. It seems that it cannot detect the adaptor, even though it's plugged in.
I have tried deleting the software and then trying to install again, but it comes up with the old problem of not being able to detect the adaptor again, even though I brought it into the other room so the adaptor was right next to the Livebox.
Any help really really appreciated, I honestly need my internet back! Thanks in advance.

UNABLE TO CONNECT WITH WIRELESS:
This may help or give you some clues.
Are you pressing Button 1 on Livebox to put it into pairing mode?
Press Button 1 on Livebox so the wifi light flashes. This puts livebox into pairing mode and you have 10 minutes to try and connect your wireless device . This only needs to be done once and then you should be able to connect every time .
I had to change security on Livebox to WEP only.
WEP key is case sensitive.
If security is an issue WPA is more secure, try WPA only.
You could also try Changing the channel. One recommended to try is channel 9.
Another issue is if there are 2 programmes on the computer that you are trying to connect trying to control the wireless. Turn of the programme that came with the wireless card and use XP to control the connection.
