I have been with Orange broadband on 512k for a long time and have never had any problems, but just recently I decided to upgrade to 4mb, since I have upgraded to 4mb, my router keeps disconnecting from the internet every 10 minutes or sometimes it can stay on for up to 30 minutes. The only way I can get back onto the internet is by turning the routers power off and on. Im not using the livebox or speed touch modem, I am currently using a belkin wireless router.
This is getting very annoying now as I can only connect to the internet for about 10 minutes before it disconnects, the only light that goes off on the router is the internet light, all the other lights stay on.
Basically your problems is that Orange cannot provide a decnet broadband service.
As long as you are with them your problems will continue.
if you ring them for help you will only be fobbed off with lies, excuses like 'there is a fault on your line, we will run a test so ring back in 48 hours' etc etc.
Your best bet is to move to a real ISP that can provide a decent service and won't just rob you.
i moved to Idnet after my nightmares with Orange and never had any problems whatsoever since last September.
