As a former Wanadoo customer for at least 3 years without problem, Orange have jumped in to tarnish this healthy state alomst immediately. No problem at first with the change over until I decide to upgrade to the livebox option 19th April was the day I did the deed and to this day am still awaiting the box after the promised 3- 5 days WOW HOW WRONG WAS I ?.
After numerous calls here is the story of events:
first call after 2 weeks was met with "oh well it was sent out on such a date, I will just check" 20 minutes later " Oh it couldn`t be delivered due to incorrect address, here`s parcel links number and the parcel delivery number" great I thought at least I could pick it up or have it re delivered, WRONG, it had been sent to them minus the full address and returned to Orange, DOH !!!
Starting to sound familiar yet ?
The next 6 phone calls are along the lines of it being sent that my house address didon such a date oh hang on wait, it says here that the address is wrong can we have your full details once more to check them please ?
After a few times you don`t mind but after phone call number 3 I thought it would be funny to patronise the hell out of them and slowly and i mean VERY SLOOOOOOWWWWLYYYY spell out my entire address, postcode, including United Kingdom and insist i repeated it twice made me feel better anyway. Each time the excuse was my house address did not exist according to Parceforce ??? strange one that, it`s a 60 year old house I even offered a map and GPS co ordinates should they need them, the offer was declined
Anyway as you can gather all is not well with me and Orange so I told the poor lady in that sweaty office in Mumbai that if I don`t get my box by the 12th June then I will be cancelling my contract (sic) as they are in breach of theirs to me so lets see how it goes, I will keep you posted.
Phoned them up today, they tried everything to stop me leaving and taking my MAC number, the last offer of if we give you free ....... I stopped her in her tracks and told her even if she offered me 12 months free I still wouldn`t take it I vented my spleen in a nice way of course so am now awaiting my code in 3-5 working days...... lets see shall we
