My internet changed over this morning. I am now a fully fledged customer of Waitrose.
What a relief it is to be rid of this shoddy excuse for a company.
I'll probably still lurk from time to time; this site has been very helpful over the last twelve months. Orange should pay for it given how much useful advice is on here compared to their so called customer services.
That said, this site was also very influential in making me leave them. When you realise that you're not alone; that a lot of other people are having the same problem as you; that Orange do not give a flying f**k...
What has Orange done? Freeserve and Wanadoo provided me with an excellent service for over five years (I think?) Starting with dial up, then broadband.
I only had to ring their customer services once in all that time. And that was my fault (I'd mislaid my password...) The member of staff I spoke to that time was very patient and helpful.
There have been helpful members of staff I've spoken to since then, don't get me wrong. I even posted about one on the "Praise for Orange" section - it's still there, not hard to find.
If anyone from Orange reads this, take my advice. Get out. Get another job. Your employer doesn't care about its customers, so it certainly doesn't care about you.
If their chief exec reads this... What are you on? You couldn't run a tea club, let alone an internet company. Well, whatever, I'm not your customer, and I'm not a shareholder. I really couldn't care any more. Like you don't care about your customers.
