The name of this post pretty much gives away what I wish to ask: Do Orange have to ask me to renew a 12 month contract?
Of course, in theory, the answer is yes. They just can't assume that I am willing to continue the drudgery that I have been experiencing over these long years.
The thing is, I didn't make a note of the date I previously agreed to the contract. Looking back on my blog, I was connected by the 26th of March 2006. This year I haven't heard a peep from Orange...
I wish to escape. Seeing as my contract went out of date several months ago, I should have no problem doing so. Or do I?
Is there any way they can sign a contract for me. Some kind of exploit or loophole =P
I want to move to Zen Internet as soon as possible.

They cannot enter you in a new contract without your knowledge, Just ring and ask for a MAC which they have to supply within 5 days they will bribe you with offers to stay which is your choice to accept or not.
Good Luck

If your refering to bribes to stay Im not sure about that as im not with Orange any more i left last august they tried it with me then and going by this and several forums they are still doing it most ISP's do these days, im sure someone will reply who has recently migrated away from Orange.
If your determined to leave its best not to accept their free months or reduced package as you will still have the same service, with the reduced package you will definately be put on a new contract.
