Sorry for poor description of problem but never used a forum before and I have average PC knowledge.

Plug in the Liverbox and went ot next stage which is to install software etc and I cannot open the setup file and it won't autorun either.

I can an error warning saying 'unable to register windows class'

I thought this broadband is 98se compatible ?

Any suggestions other than cancelling contract would be helpfull. Has anyone else experienced this.

INSTALLATION CD PROBLEMS:

If you have Adobe Flash Player 9 installed remove it.

Or you can go to:

http://192.168.1.1

Click on the "Access to the configuration pages" link, then choose My Services from the menu on the left, then Internet.

If you are prompted to login, the username is admin and the password is admin.

Then insert your username and password for connection to the internet.
Connection login=username - xxxxxxxx.freeserve.co.uk@fs
Connection password=your password

How long do they usually take to get your broadband activated.

Never had broadband before so I'm not migrating from anyone.

Keith,

Have uninstalled the flash 9 and no difference and I cant access the other link you posted. Will all be solved do you think if I just upgrade to xp home ?

The 192.168.1.1 link can only be accessed when you connect up the ethernet cable between the PC and livebox and have it powered up.

If you're doing a wired connection you don't need to run the cd at all, just setup the cables, and follow what keithwjones said.
