well basicaly - Orange sold my PAYG phone number to a new Orange contract customer. not only was that bad but after hours on the phone trying to sort it out which cost me, i had sum guy (from a call centre outside UK) shout at me and tell me that i didnt own the number Orange did and they could whatever they wanted with it!!!! to which i replied with its a pre paid phone number as stated in the terms and conditions now get me your supervisor! it gets worse... they then told me that my phone number was now with the contract new customer and they had no way of telling me when i woould get it back! so it turned out that for a whole 7 days that some stranger had my number and was using it for all i knew he could of been a drug dealer ( oh and i know its a he because they told me his name and address!!!WTF like!!!) its now 3 months later and now they want me to pay £10 for my requested (2 months ago) correspondance! WTF like!!!???? and this is just a brief description! im not a happy bunny to say the least. all i wanted to do was get a PAC code and go to Tesco mobile cos Orange are charging me £5 for 20 mins to talk to my girlfriend which is plain robbery in my eyes! anyways so thats very basicaly it, if anyone knows what to do please tell me I would really appreciate it.
I believe you've got the wrong forum here but hey. As your number is payg just bin it off, unlock your current phone and buy a new sim with whoever you want to go with . It really isn't that much hassle changing numbers, just group text people who'd need your new number, easy.

Lol! yea it came out wrong oops! umm and about getting a new sim its kinda a big problem, im in the music industry and theres a lot of people who wud need me to keep the same number who i dont know of if u get me? but thanks for the info and sorry for using the wrong forum
