Just thought i'd fill you in on my saga regarding trying to get my MAC code from Orange.
After about 6 weeks of appalling speeds...0.1Mbs many evenings ( I am on 2Mbs ) I decided to move on and asked Orange for my MAC code...as follows.
21st May asked for MAC after about 20 mins got moved to a guy in England who said it would be 48 hours.
23rd May asked where it was, told it would take upto 5 days.
29th May asked where it was, told it would be very soon..next couple of days.
4th June asked where it was, promised it would be tomorrow...the guy i spoke to would not confirm this by email and nor would his manager.
5th June asked where it was, was told they had only started to generate it yesterday and would take 5 days, again a very heated debate over the difference between incompetence and downright lying.
This is hands down the worst custmoer support i have come across and there are some real jokers out there.

Unfortunately similar story for loads and me included but since my MAC plight its now compulsary to issue a MAC within 5 days and they are still using delay tactics...unbelievable!! report them to Ofcom.

So 20 days before you get a MAC, even though they can generate one in minutes while you hold on ?
Call back and tell them to give you it now over the phone !
