Anyone else had problems with the 'new' homepage today ?, links not working, ages to download a linked page or page not found !!!
I was really impressed in the time it took for the home page to download, I managed to cook a bowl of porridge in the microwave, and make a cup of tea whilst waiting !!!
I suppose it's my fault as usual, I am on 1/2 meg after Wanadon't had to reduce the speed on my line.
Wanadon't page was always OK so what's the problem now ORANGE, I won't bother phoning to listen to their lame excuses!
IT don't bode well for the future do it ?
Do you think if I go for the mobile phone I'll get 8Meg
My friend also has problems, she runs a small business and is very worried as most of her B&B booking are taken by e-mail, she managed to get into the site this morning however 3 replies she sent have been returned by Mail Delivery System as her e-mail is blacklisted and we don't now why, she sent a reply to one of them yesterday and that went through ok however when she replied again to the same e-mail today it's been returned, if anyone has any ideas can you please let me know

Hi tobykim
It may be worthwhile setting up a Yahoo! or Hotmail (or other) email address for a while so that you / your friend can communicate with potential clients.
This doesn't resolve your problems accessing emails but it is a start.
It shoudl only be a short-term problem - probably due to the huge number of curious visitors accessing their new website.
Is the website hosted on a wanadoo account? PM me with details and I may be able to assist or provide an alternative for you.
I've just sent her an invite for gmail as I have been reading that some isp's have blocked e-mail from Wanadoo, Hotmail and Yahoo for spamming, I thought that this was the best way to go about it at least that way she will be able to reply, hopefully! I don't know about the website I'll have to ask her about that later when I see her. She's a very nervous person and this has thrown her into a right spin, come to think about it I think she has just had a new website on her own domain so that should be ok
Thanks for your quick response, I think she'll have to phone them I only hope she has the phone numbers as the site is inaccesible
Thanks again

If she has her own website, then all she need do is change teh contact email address to the new [Google] email address - that way, she shall not miss any new business! She should speak to her website hosting company or update the pages herself if she is able to.
