I have both a pc and a MAC which for the last 5 years (pc, the macbok is new) have worked perfectly on freeserve, wanadoo and Orange until May 24th when they migrated the line to a 7mb line, since that time i cannot check my email though Yahoo or msn or many other sites. I have a BT 2000 adsl router and have tried changing the dns settings to open but to no avail. HELP !!!. The cannot help me and i dont want to wait for a livebox any ideas as i want both pc and MAC to work wirelessly

If you are using Outlook:

Internet Accounts > Properties > Servers > Outgoing Mail (SMTP)

If you're not then the equivalent

nhyder setting the outgoing email server in a client program isn't really going to help with...

Can you access websites in general without any problem?

I can access this site or Tesco, river island or other random sites but no yahoo,msn, also my itunes wont connect and my norton will not auto update as it says there is a server problem

In that case it could be down to MTU, try following the MTU settings link at the top right and see if following the instructions helps sort it out.

I can access this site and other random sites like Tesco and river island and other sites i have no interest in, but no yahoo,msn, also i cannot connect t the tiunes store or norton auto update
