I complained to Ofcom because although I cancelled my Wanadoo account several weeks ago there is still a tag on my line. I phoned to ask for the code, but they said that they couldn't give it to me because I wasn't a customer! I pointed out that they didn't give it to me when I cancelled my account either, but that got no comment.
I phoned Ofcom last week and they said they'd written to Wanadoo but had not had a reply. I've continued to e-mail Wanadoo asking them to remove the tag but they have not done so.
Noting a comment in another strand, I've e-mailed BT to check whether Wanadoo has asked them to remove the tag.
