hi

i've been having the dreaded ppl server down for the past 6 days now. I've reset my livebox upteen times been onto people in Indian who insist on saying they are sorry, calling me by my forename constantly and treating me like i've only just switched on a PC for the first time. They claim there is an outage in my area. How can i find out if this is true as i smell bull***t here..................i am currently using my neighbours connection (they are fine with that)

same problem and same experience with the customer service/technical support. tonight line has disconnected 5 times . no dial, tone, unable to establish connection. what a joke

Im not sure if this is related to my problem.. I haven't been able to get online at all since Saturday afternoon, it started disconnecting every hour or so and then bam, nothing... still offline as we speak (i'm typing this from work)

Im in Northwich, Cheshire. and the exchange is believe is in Hartford. Not sure if this problem is the same as what is affecting us?

Its too much of a joke, definately planning on cancelling!

I am in Southampton and I havn't got internet/email at home, but the VOIP phone is working fine, although it did cut out briefly this morning.

All lights are as normal and the Livebox says its connected Confused

Praise where praise is due, I phoned Orange, they admitted they are having problems and said it should be rectified either this evening or by tomorrow morning and hey presto, its working again Very Happy

Well done!!!

If only they would admit when they have problems, like they did today as it would make things so much more bearable Rolling Eyes

Exactly,.. I rang once at 3.30 pm and got a recorded message, I was still a little p****d off, what with all the other ongoing issues, but at least the message pacified me enough to stop me going off on one!.. perhaps Orange are at least learning a little customer service etiquette, even if they still cannot manage to run and ISP!!! Rolling Eyes
