Just got my Livebox this week and have set it up for one wireless laptop and one wired PC, both running WinXP.
I am now trying to set up a Win98 PC and when I try to run the disc I get an error message saying "Unable to register window class" and the disc won't even open. I have tried going in via explorer, but to no avail and have also tried the 2nd CD drive on the PC thinking it might be an issue with the drive, but have the same problem. I had thought that all I would need to do was plug the wires in, sadly not. It is set to obtain an IP address automatically. Any suggestions?
Also how easy is it to port forward with a Livebox - it was pretty simple with my Belkin router using portforward.com, but cannot see a Livebox listed on their site.

Forget the cd. You need to find out if it's getting an address first after connecting the cable. Go to start, run and type in "command".
Ok it to get a dos window and type in,
ipconfig /all
Either paste the results here if you can or just any lines that mention IP Address.

It's listed under the manufacturer "Inventel", just pick the one marked Livebox.
