Yeah I was looking at BE but they like many others charge for migrating from LLU Also if you want to cancel with them, in the dreaded minimum period or not, you're required to give Three months notice or pay for a quicker cancellation, yes, you did read right, a whole Three months, WTF . Pays to read the small print. This and the LLU problem is certainly making me think twice about them and I'm still looking around even though my 12 months with Orange is up.
Been with Be* for nearly a week now after leaving Orange.
I used to get 5.5mb on Orange, then when the dreaded LLU happened with service shaping etc, between 0.1mb - 2.7mb max. That was when I didn't get disconnected for hours at a time.
My ADSL service hasn't dropped once in 1 week, the support from Be* staff is excellent with a ticket system on their website for upgrades/profile changes etc, a freephone CS/Technical number and above all of that.....

And the ability to talk to the people in charge (Brett and Louise) on a dedicated forum is a bonus that only goes to show what is possible in the ISP business.
Other helpful members as well like Reggie21 only add to the Be* experience
And yeah i was gonna switch to BE, but then they decided to not upgrade my exchange <_<
I have just been on the phone with them. They do not charge for it and even have a promotion now of not charging for connection till the end of this month.
