i cancelled my direct debit for Orange broadband with a simple phone call to the bank! then cancelled the contract.I can't believe that so many people are having such dire problems (mine being slow connection) but are still letting Orange drain their bank accounts.WAKE UP PEOPLE!! Not sure I would recommend this course of action. Even if Orange were in breach of contract I would certainly not place myself in a similar situation which is what you may have done. Suspending payments and advising Orange that the payments will remain like that until they resolve the problems would probably be a better way forward. Your action could result in Orange blacklisting you for non payment. Once someone is blacklisted it is very time consuming to get this lifted.
