Grrr - i've used @bb4.freeserve.co.uk as my login for years as the later @fs has never worked for me, despite plenty of arguments with tech support trying to get me to use @fs in the past (with me always proving them wrong).
Today my broadband was down for a couple of hours (ppp server down) and after spending ages online with an Indian tech support girl called Fiona (yeah right, dont treat us like idiots, we are capable of pronouncing foreign names y'no) I've discovered that @fs now works and bb4.freeserve.co.uk has been taken offline today.
So I've had to pay to discover that they've finally changed my login!! bah
She also wiped out my port forwarding settings as I didn't realise what she was doing when she said hold in button 2 and plug in the power on the crapbox.
When I asked her why she hadn't asked me to back up my settings first as it was the obvious thing to do, she cut me off!!!
Customer service call on Monday morning me thinks.

at least my speed is 2 weeks good!
Orange tech support thinks that the internet is something you use to catch fish with in the Ganges. If you have a problem with Orange then the reality is that you either sort it out yourself or you take your business elsewhere.
