i search the forums but could not immediately find a similar problem.

in December 2005 i was upgraded to 8meg. all was working fine up until then. from Dec 05 onwards my internet connection typically has speeds of 6meg but disconnects on a random basis after 20 mins to an hour. if the new connection is re-establised at 2.7 meg then i suffer no more disconnections until i reboot.

i was onto Orange everynight until april 06 when i was told to phone back in a month.....but i basically gave up. i am about to start again.......

my nearest server is the acton server in london.

anyone else suffer this problem?

.....2.7mb? I should be so lucky! I'm South London and my exchange is only 1 mile away but I've NEVER had faster than 2mb although I'm paying for 8mb....(for the second time) I'm now waiting for my MAC code to migrate to BT.
