Well I've tried just about everything now.
ISPA: can do zero because I'm joint mobile/broadband (even tho I still pay extra for BB)
SENT LETTER TO CS: received zero response
OFCOM: complained twice, still havnt been contacted by Orange as told to expect within last fortnight.
CANCELLED ACOUNT: refused MAC code, so cancelled.
CHARGED PHONE CALLS for "Orange complimentary free dial up" - phone bill now £170
Orange still have not even begun to clear my line, because they have "started from scratch in the cease order" whatever that means. Ten days since I cancelled and instructed full cease.
Is it now that I have to wait another 9 weeks before CISAS steps in. I cant believe in this day and age I as a consumer have no more rights than this.

Out of all the broadband forums this is the worse treatment ive ever seen from an ISP and by the looks of it word is getting round most of them of Oranges appalling service.
Keep on at Ofcom also if they aint going ahead and cancelling your account they have to give you a MAC this is disgraceful and i hope they get their comeuppence.
I hope you get it sorted soon how this excuse of a company is getting away with it is beyond belief.

I did get a reply today after I posted the above: In short they have refused to wave the remaining £40 contract and failed to address any of the other points outlined in my two page letter other than a compensatory £10 deduction off the contract.

I've now composed a new letter outlining further grounds for appeal and compensation including those that they have neglected to acknowledge. I have given them another opportunity to rectify once more or to provide me with a deadlock letter in order that I refer to CISAS.
This is going to be going on a long time as in my opinion its an attempt to plead ignorant call my bluff and eventually I'll go away. Not a chance, I'll fight to the death.
