I have been having the PPP Server down problem for short periods (minutes to hours) once or twice I think (to short to bother). This week I got a constant 'PPP Server Down'; and I got out of it by:
Stop the livebox for the night, power it on again in the morning.
Since the livebox keeps trying and fails it seems to perpetuate the problem in the network. That's it. I don't think factory reset as anything to do with this problem. Wrong login/password could however, but normally not if it has been working before.
I'm now connected as normal. Worth sharing I believe
