I'm a newbie, and thought I was all alone, but after reading all these posts i'm pretty shocked at the number of people affected.
I've been without broadband for 2 weeks now, and as I'm sure know the story goes, I've been repeatedly told to call back in 2 days. Today I was told to call back in 5 DAYS!!!
I've still got 6 months left on my contract, and I've been told by customer "care" that I can't cancel unless I've been without service for 4 weeks. I'm not sure I can arsed waiting for another 2 weeks and am contemplating just asking for my MAC code and cancelling. Has anyone out there faced legal action or know anyone who has? Or have you all been OK so far after just leaving?
