As I cant take another day dealing with Orange which is marginally less pleasurable than sticking needles in my eyes - I am looking at moving isp, but they wont give me a MAC code unless I fork out for the rest of my contract term.
If I can I will challenge them to the max and refuse to pay, however in the meantime I need broadband for my livlihood.
Any suggestions, and recs on other providers would be most welcome.

I requested code today but ended up going through another half hour of diagnostics with an Idian named Benny and still no joy. They just throw the contract jargon and refuse to give it.
Someone suggested I remind them they are in breach of contract.

Yes Bethere have been excellent i recommend them free TS and CS and fast connection.
You should remind them as i don't think they realise that a contract works both ways.
Orange must take on staff sit them at the phones and place a script in front of them and in big red letters its says "WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T LET THEM OUT OF THEIR CONTRACT" it's disgraceful
