No matter how hard I try I keep getting this message when I try to connect to the internet through my livebox. I have checked by PPP name and password with Orange, but to no avail. Anyone got any tricks up their sleeves?
As it's invalid auth then it's not a direct PPP down issue and either username and/or password related or account related.
Make sure you're entering your username as for example...
xxxxxx.orangehome.co.uk@fs
Did you check the exact spelling of it and your password with Orange as sometimes it might be quite as you expect.
There is a small trick you can try. Remove the @fs and instead try...
@bbX.freeserve.co.uk
X = 4, 3, 2 or 1.
After that call them and if you're on an non-LLU line ask them to do a radius log check for you.
