IS IT JUST ME BUT EVERY TIME I USE MY WANADOO ACCOUNT ON SPPEDTOUCH I CAN GUARENTEE THAT I WILL GET CUT OFF AND LOOSE MY CONNECTION EVERY 10/15 MINS ALL NIGHT. HOW CAN I GET BROADBAND WITHOUT THE DIAL UP SO I DONT HAVE TO LOOSE MY CONNECTION WHEN I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF A DOWNLOAD.
I ASKED Orange ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND THEY TOLD ME TO COME ON HERE TO SK THE QUESTION??

I take it you are joking! Orange are recommending OrangeProblems.co.uk - our members probably do help to resolve more issues!!!

You should find some assistance within the forum appropriate to your Orange plan - e.g. up to 8Meg connection, 2Mb connection...

There are plenty of similar stories with some very good advice that may help you.

Hi,

I was getting the same with my speedtouch modem.

I bought a Linksys WAG200G ADSL router and now use that (with the latest firmware) and the problem has almost (but not quite) gone away.

It also helps as I can now use my portable while my son is on the PC.
