Hi everyone. New on this forum but not to Orange broadband. I have this problem with my livebox talk going around now for ages. At first I can use the phone which connected to the livebox for about 2 weeks then after that until now I cant. There is no dialtone ones you pick up the phone, tried ringing the number and it rangs, the phone light flashing on the livebox but no ringing tone on the phone handset.
I rung Orange broadband customer support around five times already. Same as what I've read on forums....do this and do that...escalate to higher authority..giving them my s/n and MAC numbers....resetting livebox...All this and that but done nothing. I even changed handset, use a touchtone phone, a wireless handset, been sent with a new filter, been uninstalling and installing livebox,,,,,,,but still I can't make calls or receive calls.

Before they will replace the Livebox you will have to do the following:
> -had a replacement phone adaptor
> -factory reset livebox at least 3 times
> -tried with at least 2 or 3 different handsets
> -had the talk service account closed and reopened - They may have stopped doing this now?
I had a similar experience with my Talk service.
Go through all the procedures as they say, and then demand to speak to the Duty Manager. Thats how I eventually got a new Livebox which solved the problem.
When you get the new Box, you need to call them to have your Talk Service re-activated. Takes about 24 hours.
You just need to shout loudly at them.
