Migration from Orange to BT went through no problems. I am no synched up at 7MB!!!!!
Outstanding. After all the hassle I went through with Orange for the past year or so with them telling me my line will only support 1MB. Just proves what utter bull they spiel.
When I first ordered my MAC code I was told I would have to pay a £50 cancellation fee, reluctantly, I agreed just to get away from them. I fully expected to be charged before they released my line. However, I havent been charged as yet and I am now on BT. As you can guess I have cancelled my direct debit and they can now go whistle for the cancellation fee.
Dont know where I will stand legally but they can chase me for a while now and maybe I will cut them off, be rude and patronising, may suggest to call them back in 48 hours and not. You know treat them the way they have treated me.
Anyhow, to all those who have been told by Orange that their line will only support the speeds they are giving you, I suggest you disregard their advice and seek advice elsewhere.
