<Livebox Issues? ~ help.....just too impatient to wait for liveprinter launch

Googled it to death, visited all the forums, followed all the links, tried all the suggestions, but still cant get my printer to work via the livebox USB port!
Have an HP officejet K80, in full working order when wired to any of our PCs . Yes it's a few years old, but I don't see that as an issue.
Have two desktops and one laptop, none are networked, but all have been set up for wireless connection via the livebox and work well.
Does not seem to matter how I go about it, I just can't get the thing to print via the livebox. Have checked the livebox configuration pages, the printer appears and the liveprinter function is enabled.
The above link tells you what to do but where do you connect the cables from the printer to the Livebox? I presume it is in the USB port in the middle of one side of the Livebox?
The current process looks somewhat hit and miss. Several people have reported going through it with no trouble but it just seems some printers don't like the setup. There may be a way to set them up but it's gonna take a fair bit of experimentation to work it out.
Yep, I have it connected to usb port under livebox pairing buttons. Spent two days trying to configure the printer. Guess I will give up and wait for the official launch by Orange.
