I wonder if anyone can help. I bought a webcam and downloaded the newest version of Skype so that i can speak to my family in the UK (i'm in France). I can hear them very well and the picture is good at my end but to them i sound like a darlic and the picture is terrible. I understand from Skype that there are isues being behind some routers/firewalls and with NAT. They advise that i configure a static IP and that i open UDP both ways on the Skype port number. - There is the problem, can anyone advise me how i do this on the live box?

I found I had to setup the firewall wth advanced settings and open the skype port for tcp and udp
without doing that most calls dropped after about 1 minute
