Well my problem with Orange broadband started last week when I lost connection and couldn't use the internet for about 3 hours. I decided to ring Orange and find out what the problem was. The man on the phone said he will perform some tests that take 24hours and get back to me. After an hour my internet was back on. The next day I realised it was extremely slow. In my router setting it was saying my connection was 2Mb and it had never displayed this since I upgraded to an 8Mb connection.
I keep phoning Orange to find out what the problem is but it seems like their technical services department is full of idiots. They do not know what they are talking about and speak to me as if I don't know a thing about computers. I have personally tried to fix this problem but have failed. I am fed up with Orange always having their server down and am so close to finding a new broadband provider. Has anyone ele experienced their connection going back to a 2Mb...If anyone knows how to fix this problem please help. Thank you.
My advice is to leave Ornage ASAP.
At the moment you still have a connection which is very lucky for an Orange customer.
Move to an ISP that cares for its customers and gives a stable connection without the bull and hassle of the lying, robbing Orange.
