When i called Orange to have a broadband pack sent to me, i was not told that i was entering into a 12-month contract. I was only told that my mobile contract would be restarted.
So, after two months of the broadband not working, after hours of waiting in the queue for their customer service and receiving conflicting advice from a handful of customer services representatives who were unable in the end to tell me why my broadband was not working, i was then told that i couldn't cut off the contract without paying them another £45.
This is after i have already given them £10 for two months of broadband service that has not yet worked.
They refused to refund me the charges, even though the broadband did not work.
So now i have to continue to pay them for the privilege of having had my time wasted.
I thought it was unlawful to enter a customer into a contract without prior notification?
