Hi everyone. Just thought I would let you all know of what I have pulled off today!!. I was upgraded to broadband unlimited about a month ago and since I have been unable to connect to the talk service. I have spent god knows how much time either on the phone talking to the rude/arrogant customer/technical (my 2 year old daughter could teach these clowns a thing or too). They are charging me £5 per month and I was only receiving half the service. So, after spending time trying to get out of this joke of a contract, it suddenly hit me!. This is how to do it!!.
Log onto member centre and change your package back to starter package (the one that comes free with your mobile contract). Wait a bit and then phone customer services and say you want to cancel your free broadband. I was all revved up for another argument. What a surprise, they collapsed like a chocolate fire guard. I was given a MAC straight away without having to raise my voice once!.
I think another thing I had in my favour was my mobile contract runs out in 4 months. I told them that they could either just loose me as a broadband customer which I dont pay for or loose me as a phone customer on a 18 month contract at £35 per month. Guess what they chose?. I'm now free from my broadband !! YYYYIIIIIPPPPPEEEE!.
