Having been moved to LLU in early March 2007 and seen my speed drop from 6Mbit/s to 440kbit/s plus an email system that only lets you send when the wind is blowing from the east I decided to go.
I asked Orange Tech Support to be put back on IPStream by email (for a record) and they replied in very poor english NO!.
I then rang Customer Support and asked for a MAC code. They transferred me to some idiot who started off by calling me Mate.
He then told me my problem was the Speedtouch modem could only go up to 6Mbit/s. Says a lot for the quality of employee. As I'm using a router he got blown out of the water. He then gave me a friendly lecture on making sure I did not pay too much after the cutover.
Got my MAC code two days later. Have now signed with BT and await connection.
Got the impression that Orange are so shell shocked they cannot be bothered to try and retain you.
