I want to leave Orange and get a MAC code, but I don't want a 30 minute wait and a frustrating convosation with some one in India who doesn't understand me.

There is no official direct UK number but going through to customer support should get you there but whatever way you go if there's a queue there's little you can do to avoid it.

There is a MAC Process on the Orange website but its not well publicised. Goto Help & Support and select Broadband & Dialup. Next screen input kb732 and this will take you to the MAC process. You have two methods of requesting a MAC. Use the telephone number shown, which as Elhana has pointed out is the customer support number. If you do not want to use this then you can write a letter requesting a MAC. The address is also in the MAC Process.
