Well it`s finaly happened - i`ve had the dreaded email from Orange saying that " good news we willbe uggrading your service blah, blah blah!. Upto this time my service with Orange has been ok - 5 6 mB download not using their crappy live box i hasten to add.
Since my updgrade - 1.5MB and sometimes not even connecting, i`m absolutely sick to death of Orange, speak to technical, they tell you to speak to customer service, speak to them and it`s back to technical. Ive been lied to, left on hold for 14 minutes, probably would have been longer but i hung up.
So yesterday i had enough - i screamed down the phone that i want to cancel my agreement, they then had had the nerve to say they would have to charge my £45.00 to disconnect - i said how can you charge me to disconnect when i can`t even effing connect. The agent on the otherline was rude beyond believe, when i requested to speak to a supervisor it was then that i was put on hold for 14 mins. Has anyone got anything good to say about Orange, does anyone have a happy conclusion from Orange. I`d still like to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope that they finally get their act together....... what do you all think
The happiest conclusion is getting your MAC and migrating. On a serious note, however frustrated you get, hurling abuse is not going to help. It just gives a very good excuse to refuse to deal with you. I really wouldn't give Orange the benefit of the doubt as you've already experienced their 'service'. Whatever you do don't cancel, request a MAC and move to another isp. The matter of a disconnection fee is then negated and you'll owe the monkeys nothing Good luck.

If the fee mentioned was due to contract term then requesting a MAC won't avoid that fee, it is simply requested once the code is actually used.
