I have cancelled my service from Orange by way of their 30 days notice agreement. I am about halfway through it now. I want to go with Be Unlimited and have been told by them that if i get a MAC code from Orange there will be no downtime.
The only MAC code Be will recognise is in the following format......
4 letters, 7 numbers, / 2 letters, 2 numbers, 1 letter.
Can anyone who has had a MAC code from Orange confirm that it was in this exact format please.
I have e-mailed Orange for info but I did not get a reply, they must be too busy bailing out a sinking ship.

Hello alanred
Yes, Be will accept the MAC code from Orange - One of my broadband connections should be changing over imminently using the MAC supplied by Orange and given to Be.
I'll let you know how it goes - as I say, Be advised that the changeover should be today/tomorrow.

Hi alanred
I am still waiting... patiently for the change-over on one of my broadband connections - apparently my line is "ready to go"! Be have an online order status that keeps you up to date with progress... So I am just waiting for the last light to change from yellow (ready to go) to green (you're on!)...
