<Livebox Issues? ~ Any1 tried replacing their Livebox with a W/L Modem Router?

Hi
Thanks for the help people have given me so far.
I was wondering (think I touched on this in a previous post) of going out and buying a wireless modem router to replace my Livebox. Has anyone else done similar and will it resolve some of the issues?
Apart from the usual PPP server down and disconnections on a evening, I quite often lose connection to the livebox itself. The siganl fluctuates from very strong to none and its a pain to resolve. Took me an hour last night rebooting the livebox several times by which time I got the PPP Server problem.
Due to the layout of my house and having 2 PC's plus a Wii it isn't viable to have a permanent wired connection.
Orange refuse to provide any support as I'm using Belkin adaptors not the Orange one.
Yes since finally getting a usable broadband connection mid feb I was told to reset the gateway on livebox with recovery disc .I had enough of Orange and its problems and have been using a belkin wireless adsl modem router i have had good connection since .Can't make free calls though, also i have never received a call or email from anyone at Orange for no service for over Three and a half months or any of the compensation promised.great service.NOT
