I have used Wanadoo for my 56k connection since 2004. When I decided to upgrade to Broadband in September 2005 I assumed it would be a relatively simple process. I received my upgrade pack etc. After some connection problems I contacted them who did some line tests. After that they said they would 'investigate'. A few days later I rang back for some news - they had sent a BT engineer to my property - without telling me. Since then, no connection, many phone calls/letters...
In February I cancelled my DD as I could no longer afford to spend money and get nothing in return. Cue a dispute over breach of contract terms, and a whole load more letters. The FIRST time that Wanadoo bothered to get in touch with me in 5 months was because they wanted their money!
Most recently, they have sent me a bill for the remainder of the contract terms (approx £100). Obviously I disputed this as per ususal. However, after no joy, and needing to preserve my credit history and the such like, I have had to pay the ****ers. It goes without saying that after months of **** all service from them, I exercised my write to use colourful language in the letter that accompanied my payment. Wanadon't are a useless bunch of to**ers.
