Hi can someone help me about 2 wks ago i had a fault on my BT line outside which they came and fixed and during this time my speed had dropped dramatically. So i phoned Orange they did a line test and i was told that it was a "voice affecting line" so phoned BT and was told that they would have the technical side to look at it so i would appreciate any help before i phone BT back up to see whats happening thanks.

Make sure to include the IP Profile from the BT speedtest as that's what actually limits the speed of the connection of ADSL Max. It should, however, go up providing the sync stays high within 3 days normally.

Hi i was looking for the number for Orange to give them a ring and my phone rang it was Orange wantin to know if i was still gettin slow speeds so told her everything that's been put on here and she said she'll look into it and let me know so we'll see and i will let u know .
Hi just an update after i spoke to Orange on saturday nothing was done as usual so i waited i was out all day sunday came home about 7pm put computer on did a test and i was down to 0.2meg i got on the phone to Orange spoke a bloke called ian told him i wasn't happy explained everything he said the usual he will sort it out then did a check at 9pm and hooray i was gettin a speed of 5.6 meg it not what i was gettin before but at least it a start, all was ok until last night i did another test and again it dropped to 0.5meg was goin to phone Orange this morning but the test today shows i got speeds of 5.8meg so i'll see how it goes and if it drops really low again i goin to complain again.
