Thats it, final straw, last night by box reported PPP failure at 9pm last night just when I want to do some important work, came back on at 1am this morning . Telephoned Sky this morning took their package and my 16meg LLU is booked for activation Monday 2nd, and yes they did accept my MAC code. I know I am just one customer but I joined in the Freeserve days and up to when I was LLU'd on 9th Feb this year no problems but since then rubbish speed nowhere near 2meg let alone 5.5 meg that was suggested I would get

Welcome to the Dark Side (more pennies in Mr Murdoch's coffers )
I had to get a cease order at the time I left Orange as Sky's website mistakenly said that they didn't accept LLU MACs but they did. Since the Sky service was switched on (on time) I have enjoyed solid 6.6Mb downloads and 0.6 Mb uploads and I'm saving £18 per month as I too opted for the up to 16Mb service
Its like a different world isnt it ....Its about time Orange sat up and realised how c**p their LLU is and reverted to IPStream until they know enough about how to give people a SERVICE.
once you have the equipment from Sky it should only take around 3 or 4 days... call BT Wholesale to find out your activation date, they will give it to you. I dont have the number with me but hopefully someone else can post it for you
