Several large companies, including Powergen, have closed Indian call centres because they attracted the ire of customers.
The issue has become such a national bugbear that some firms - including Lloyds TSB's rival NatWest - are using their UK-only call centre policy as a marketing tool.
A survey by YouGov suggested that just 4% of people have had a good experience when dealing with a call centre, with over half of those asked saying their biggest gripe was having to contact call centres outside the UK.
When i'm frustrated I start spealking in slang. Winds them up. But it does make me feel better after being on hold for half an hour.
I hate the indian call centres. It also shows how greedy Orange are and how they don't give a damn about the country they operate in by not creating jobs there.
Hey...before u start passing judgements on others, remember one thing- calls centres in India are the reason why u can pay lower rates for the services u revieve (or don't whatever the case may be!!!). And one more thing- ever thought what would happen if u started getting sued for ur racially discriminating comments? The Indians i speak with are the politest and most charming people i've met- which i more than i can say for ANY of my contrymen on here!
I cant say any have been polite with me, they cant understand me so they fly off the handle thinking im not listening when its then that arent listening, thats not racial discrimination its my opinion on the people Orange staff in india.
And we get lower rates because they employ people in india? I wouldnt class the service i recieve as worth £5 a month nevermind £20 a month so i dont know what they're spending all our money on.
