Whenever an avatar/site detects my ISP... It always says Energis UK... when i looked that up on Wikipedia I got some different ISP that had some form of connection with Wanadoo. Even though my ISP is actually known as Orange. I am wondering if my ISP is actually working as though it were Energis but its being worked (or whatever) by Orange due to complications when Freeserve was bought over by Wanadoo and Wanadoo was bought over by Orange (My ISP was originally Freeserve). I wonder if this is why I have a good connection speed and do not get the same problems that other people with Orange do (other than rubbish call centres), 2 other people who I convinced to get Wanadoo (when Orange was Wanadoo) are in the same "situation" as me. Also, this could by why my username mysteriously changed and Orange cannot seem to send me a working Migration code.
They're a backend supplier and have been since the freeserve days as far as I know. That much hasn't really changed during any of the rebrands and just that in itself shouldn't really mean you have good speeds. It's likely you're not in an LLU area.
