Yesterday i turned my laptop on to find that my Orange broadband(wireless) wasnt connecting..
I pressed the number 1 button on the back of the live box to start the red light on the top flashing.. it connected and woerked fine all night.
Woke up this morning to find the same problem. But the problem keeps changing. Sometimes in my view avaliable wireless networks, theres one in there which i dont know and sometimes the liebox is there. If it isnt i have no idea what to do.
When its there and i click connect it doesnt ask me for my wep, i just tries to connect but fails. Ive tried changing the channels and tired changing the security settings to wep only and so on.. dunno what to do now. im sat with the cable that was suplied stuck out the back of my laptop.
I dont want to ring Orange as when i first gotthe livebox the software wouldnt work on my laptop so i rung up and the guy took 3 hours to help me and it cost a fortune.
try changing the security to wpa only on the lb, if this doesnt work, disable the security to allow the laptop and livebox to pair up and then if it connects turn the security back on to see if that works. hope it helps! =)

I agree with fairyclare
after disabling the security and the wireless network is re-established and its connected again enable it with WPA security its better and channel 6 is usually best.

Its strange i just kept changing the channels and changing the wpa only and suddenly it just worked and its still working now for about 2 weeks.
Sometimes i do have to type my wep in but it still works and its even working on my Wii.
