The above is my Vista result

On XP I get about 4.2Mbit max

Same PC, same hardware, same wireless adaptor driver. Why the difference?

Its possibly due to the re-written TCP/IP stack adn Winsock Kernel?

I think it's quite a lot more likely that the site is simply unreliable - it might be pretty, but it seems to give results which are all over the place, and, incidentally, results which are much faster than www.thinkbroadband.com.
