Hey, im writting this to try and save people the time and money i spent on trying to sort out my connection issues, and now im lead to believe it has been Ornage with the problem all along. For about 3 months or so now i have been experiencing very high Latency's on Games such as WoW, aswell as getting packet loss on CS. I thought it would disapear after Orange said they were experienceing server problems and doing their best to fix it, months later still no change.
Ever since wanadoo switched to Orange i have had never ending problems, firstly i get upgraded from 1.1 mps to 5.6, like wtf? i was perfectly happy with my 1.1 connection, however i wasnt complaining at the time as i thought it would be faster and more effecient, obviously not, it just got slower and i started to recieve alot of "Error 680" messages saying i been disconnected. Complete Joke.
Secondly i spent alot of time emailing Orange about these problems, and they have the curtosey to send me information back that i could have found on a quick google search, YEA good job Orange. They generally said that it could be a hardware problem and suggested i changed my modems, filters, and cables. SO i bought all of these, and i still get fuc*ing disconnected? Why cant Orange just admit they have network problems instead of wasted their customers time and money.
This service has gone down hill, and it looks like thats the only way its going in the future, cant wait to find a new isp, so i can get back to gaming!

I hear ya mate, I can't play RuneScape without losing connection every 10 seconds its beyond a joke. Just ring up and request them to send your MAC code. My Mum phoned em last night and they said theylle cancel the contract and they will send my MAC code through the post. Hopefully I can get off this piece of s**t connection once and for all in a few weeks.
And yeah you hit the nail on the head when you said about its gone downhill once Orange tookover. They upgraded me from 1 mbps to 4 mbps which I didn't want. Then all these problems started happening.
