Been with freeserve/wanadoo/orange for ages and have put up with terrible connections ever since we became broadband enabled in our area. Several times I've been in the situation where for long periods (from 3 days to 4 weeks) i can connect only for 30 seconds to 2 minutes before being disconnected. I have rung their Indian call centre several times and have to say I have lost my temper at the amount of times they have told me they will do a line test (call back in 24 hours) - each time they cannot find a line fault -0 they tell me to call BT - BT tell me it's an Orange problem. I have send numerous e-mails to the support team - only to get nothing more than an automated reply back. The strange thing is this fault seems to be related to the weather - in fact i can now predict when it will rain according to the status of my connection!
No-one seems to be able to help and Ornage clearly aren't interested in anything other than collection my £22.99 per month!
It's time for a change - I will soon need a stable connection to enable me to work from hone.
Can anyone suggest a reliable and customer care orientates ISP? or should I go with BT?

Hi Bolly
Go to Thinkbroadband and DSL ZoneUK check the ISP forums on thinkbroadband and the ratings on DSL Zone and you can choose what ISP to go for theres plenty of good ISP's that dont advertise on the tv that offer a better service are more reliable with good support some are free and 1 month contracts good luck.
