1. Phoned Orange on 25/1/07 to upgrade from existing 0.5mb to 2mb starter (I was a wanadoo customer and automatically transferred to Orange)
2. Told me they would send a new modem and email when everything was sorted.
3. At no point did she mention that I would automatically go on a 12 month contract there and then at the point of call.
4. Email received on 31/1/07 stating that it would take 10 working days and another email would be sent when service activated.
5. Heard nothing, no modem, no 2mb speed, nowt. Phoned up on 22/2/07 to chase up application. Was told that I couldnt cancel as I was in a 12 month contract! Nice service
I still havent received modem or the 2mb I was promised so Im stuck on 0.5mb for 12 months paying 14.99 for the priviledge. b******.
Be aware of Orange - dont go there, they misrepresent everthing they say and tell you ( and the things they dont tell you). I desperately want to end this contract with this miserable, pitiful, thieving organisation so Im complaining to both ISPA and OFCOM.
Know EXACTLY what you mean stiggla mate, been there myself... all Orange are concerned about is our money, not providing customers with a service...if they had been interested in solving my problems im sure they would have done it LONG before i was forced to leave. However i dont think they can solve anyones problems, they dont have the skill or knowledge to do it, that became blatantly obvious to me with all their lies, false promises and stupid suggestions.
One thing your forgetting Orange is without customers you are NOBODY!!
Well to start with they have breached the contract as they haven't supplied what you asked for.
Next step is to stop your direct debit as you're paying for a service you're not getting.
They'll threaten you with letters to go to court etc which is fine as the case is they have broken the contract.
didnt have a DD they had my credit card and took the money without asking. My Bank is now dealing with this but if i have to go to court i will be very happy to do so cos i will take them for every penny if they force me down that route... They actuallyREFUSED me a MAC code on not one but TWO occasions so im sure ISPA and OFCOM will be VERY interested in that situation as this was the reason they forced me to cancel my account... there was no other way out of their shoddy service.
SO if your reading this Orange.....beware because your gonna lose if you dont refund my money.
